AFTERNOON TEA is the 3-tier stand with sandwiches, scone, cakes, tea, canapes and fizz. We serve Afternoon Tea until 5pm.
You can only book Afternoon Tea via this page

CREAM TEA is a scone and pot of tea. Subject to availability.

BREAKFAST is served until 4.00pm

MAIN MEALS are served all day

EVENING OFFERS start at 5pm.
Booking For
Please note we are now a restaurant and are not open for just drinks. Bookings for tea and cake are not accepted except for between 3pm and 5pm Mon-Fri.

Please let us know how long you want the table for. We will place bookings immediately after you.
Please note we are a very popular small independent and being efficient in allocating tables at busy times is essential. It is therefore important that guests turn up on time as well give us time to clear, clean and prepare for the next guests. If the length of time requested is not available, please discuss with us, we can possibly offer extended times on quieter days and times.

Access Requirements
Josephine's is very small and the safety of our customers is paramount. We can only accept pushchairs and highchairs by advance booking. We always give priority to elderly and disabled customers. We reserve the right to cancel bookings to accommodate wheelchairs. If you fail to declare a pushchair you may be refused admission and will lose any deposit paid.

We are so sorry but Josephine's is generally unsuitable for pushchairs or prams.

We are extremely small and do not have the space. We also do not have baby change facilities but we do have 1 highchair.

You are more than welcome to book but we need to make you aware of the limited facilities available.

Please note we do not offer a children's menu.
WHEELCHAIRS
We prioritise bookings for wheelchairs and less able bodied customers wherever possible. There is one step to get into Josephine's but we do have a ramp. Motorised scooters would need to stay outside though.

We will contact you within 48 hours if there is a problem accepting your booking. Please do not phone us between 11am and 4pm as we are always busy and process bookings strictly on a first come first served basis. If we cannot accommodate you we will contact you.

Your deposit is safe. If we find we cannot fit you in then we will contact you about changes to your booking or refunding your deposit.
