All our teas are loose leaf tea, served to you in a china tea pot along with a tea strainer and a beautiful coloured teacup and saucer
Our pots are for individual use however an extra cup for you to share your tea is available for £2 extra.

Black Estate Teas
Bukhial TGFOP Assam
We’re delighted to bring you this brilliant Assam. Grown on the south side of the Brahmaputra River near the remote region of Nagaland, Bukhial TGFOP Assam is a premium tea with a traditional leaf style. As rainfall is lower in this area, the bushes grow more slowly yielding outstanding crops that have all the flavour and strength you would expect from a top Assam tea estate.
Margaret's Hope Darjeeling
A distinctive 'muscatel' flavour, with hints of blackcurrants create an almost wine like taste. Often compared to the taste and fragrance of Muscat grape, Margaret's Hope makes a wonderful afternoon tea great with scones and raspberry preserve!
Java Santosa
From Indonesia, this full bodied black tea is very easy to drink. Similar to Assam.
Lover's Leap Ceylon
Sri Lanka has produced some of the best teas in the world and this Ceylon from the reknowned Lover's Leap estate is a classic
Kenya Lelsa
Along the same lines as Assam and Santosa, another full bodied and wholesome black tea.
Black Tea Blends
English Breakfast
A perfect Breakfast Tea that really will brighten your morning. Medium bodied with 'get up and go' flavour that is especially enticing with a dash of milk, ermm… and bacon and eggs, cereal, bagels or whatever else you might choose to start your day!
Decaffeinated English Breakfast
Using a Flowery Pekoe tea from the Dimbula region in Sri Lanka this Decaffeinated English Breakfast is full of body. A high-quality Ceylon tea is used as it retains its flavour better than others whilst undergoing the natural CO2 decaffeination process. With a balanced astringency and lovely floral notes, it truly makes a wonderful breakfast tea
Yorkshire Blend Everyday Tea
There's something very special about experiencing a cup of tea in Yorkshire. Perhaps it really is in the water! Harrogate is famous for its many ancient wells, the famous Tewitt well in particular discovered by William Slingsby during the 1700s who believed that Harrogate's water supply had miracle healing properties. Whatever the reason, there are many wonderful teashops in Harrogate and with this amazing blend of Assam, Kenyan and China black teas we hope you'll enjoy a taste of Yorkshire, wherever you are!
Earl Grey
Apparently if you serve an excellent Earl Grey, you'll have loyal customers for life! Such is the reverence afforded this classic combination, that any change to an Earl Grey recipe takes a long time to develop and a lot of dedicated tasting and testing to ensure a smooth transition. Our recipe has been through this very process a long time ago and as such has a reputation for being an Earl Grey you can rely on to delight your customers time and time again. We have combined a high grown Ceylon tea and a smooth top grade Keemun along with top quality natural bergamot oil and added some blue cornflowers for decoration to produce a highquality classic that quite simply delivers an amazing 'Earl Grey' experience with no aftertaste or overpowering perfume. Enjoy!
Vanialla Earl Grey
If you're an Earl Grey fan, then you must try this magnificent cream version. Full of flavour with a smooth creamy taste and vanilla overtones our Cream Earl Grey Tea is great any time of day...especially with a cake or two!
Caramel Dream
Enjoy the delicious melt in the mouth taste of butterscotch blended with the natural flavour of creamy caramel, a hint of vanilla and premium Ceylon black tea. Camomile & Mint Herbal Tea

Our teas are now available to buy for you to enjoy at home. These teas are not available in supermarkets, they are only available in specialist tea houses like Josephine’s. They come from the world’s top tea estates and are very high quality.
